How Pinterest and Instagram Are Shaking Up the Social Media Landscape

 

The social media landscape is constantly evolving.  Between the never-ending Facebook upgrades, and new social media platforms entering and exiting the scene daily, it’s a challenge for communications professionals to keep up.  Join us at our June 12^th  luncheon meeting, where you’ll learn about the new darlings of the social media scene – Pinterest and Instagram – as well as the latest on Google+, Facebook and other social media platforms.  Most importantly, you will learn how to utilize social media to effectively communicate to your company’s stakeholders and customers.    

Our featured speaker is Darlynn Nangano, owner of Little Blog Dress Media, a social media marketing company.  Prior to launching Little Blog Dress, Darlynn worked for 15 years for Black Crow Media where she held programming, promotions, event and sales positions.  She currently is the director of social media for Black Crow’s stations in Daytona Beach and the other 20 stations they have around the country.

Launched in 2010, Little Blog Dress Media works with many local businesses to coordinate their social media efforts, which include managing and maintaining their Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, blogs and online reviews.

Actively involved in the community, Darlynn serves on both the board of the Junior League of Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach Mainstreet.  She has previously served on the boards of the American Cancer Society for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and the Daytona Beach Advertising Federation.
